The first telephone service for mobile people soon gone

It has been around for some time, but I realized today that the first Unwireless Mobile Telephone service is about to close in Sweden. The telephone booths or kiosks will be completly dismantled the coming year according to Telia. For a while Telia tried dual use by installing WiFi access points on top of these booths, it seemed however that the WiFi hotspots ended up in the wrong places versus demand. Telia also reports an unexpected private market demand for dismantled booths, will we see a second wave of these installed in peoples gardens and leisure houses in the future? If so, then the WiFi hotspots may finally end up at the right place ;)
